Fan palm with bamboolikr clumps with deep green foliage. Trunks covered with net of dark, fibrous leaf sheaths. Slow growing, hardy to 20 degree F. Dose great in containers. Best in shade or indoors. It will withstand morning sun, but keep protected from cold and heat.
