Slow grower to 4" a year in optimum conditions. Grey-green leaf with sharp tips. The old foliage can be left on for that natural look or clipped off. Dose well in containers or in the ground, needs well drained soil with a lot of amendments mixed in for healthier looking plant. It will withstand down to -10 degree F with no damage. Used as a specimen plant in a cactus garden or a nice accent in a tropical setting.
